It was never truly just a phase. Los Angeles born, Nashville based, songwriter/recording artist SHELBYY is proving that rock is on the rise. She has a rebellious and angsty sound that would make Joan Jett, Avril Lavigne and No Doubt proud. Her most recent single “LOUD” ushers in a new era in her career, fueled by layered electric guitars, heavy drums, and lyrics that pack a punch. Her style, inspired by Gwen Stefani, makes a statement every time she steps on stage. The single was also accompanied with a music video filmed in Nashville, playing backyard shows and rocking out in a junkyard, displaying SHELBYY’s upbeat energy with an edge. Her unique sound has garnered her a growing fanbase with nearly 3,000 followers on Spotify, over 12,000 Instagram followers, and 14,000 TikTok followers. SHELBYY is currently performing locally in Nashville with her band THE COBRAS.

Originally from Manhattan Beach, California, SHELBYY moved to Nashville in 2017 to attend Belmont University’s Songwriting program. She has worked with artists and songwriters from around the globe and enjoys the collaborative process that goes along with creating new music. SHELBYY has tons of new music coming down the pipeline and will be releasing more throughout the summer.
